“My airplane is a Cessna R182 with a Lyc 0-540-J3CD – 235 HP engine. In the past, removing and replacing the oil filter was difficult with a ratchet and short socket. The back end of the wrench hit a wire bundle attached to the firewall. It was so bad that an Adell clamp was right at the back of the wrench that, at times the ratchet direction lever would catch and switch as you were remove the filter, not to mention chaffing the outer sheath on the wires in the bundle. Additionally, there was no way to get a torque wrench on the filter for tightening. With the Oil Easy Wrench all the problems are gone. I can even torque the filter to specs now!”
